The Avengers of Azarinthe
The Avengers of Azarinthe are a group of volunteers from different Craftworlds gathered by the Twin Seer Sisters, Arathel and Arafin from the Ulthwé Craftworld, with the objective of exacting revenge upon the Lord Governor of Nikara, who ordered the cleansing of the Exodite World of Azanrinthe, where many venerable Eldar had retired to spend their last days in solace and join the World Spirit.
The rescued spectres demanded retribution from the Seer Sisters, offering them a terrifying prophecy in return. That the destiny of Nikara was linked to the fate of hundred of thousands of eldar souls. The apparition of the Azarinthe ghosts was not acknowledged by Eldrad Ulthran, who decided that the temporary truce with the leaders of the Imperium of Man was more important than the words of dead seers. With all further support from Ulthwé denied, the Seer Sisters travelled to different Craftworlds, preaching the prophecy and looking for support for their enterprise. Alaitoc refused the call, as they preferred to maintain a policy of neutrality towards the Imperium as well, but a wandering group of Warlocks, known as The Questing Ones, claimed to feel no lies in the Sisters' words and decided to join them on their quest. The clans of Saim Hann, on the other hand, were inflamed by the story of loss and revenge, and offered hosts of Windriders for the cause. On Biel Tan, the old shrines of the Shining Spears rose to the challenge, with Autarchs Falteir the Grim and Alchamir the Argent commanding them, and promised to pledge their riders to the cause, in fulfillment of old vows of duty and honor. Iyanden as well refused the call, hiding under excuses of not having able soldiers to be used on missions against perceived enemies with real ones knocking on the doors of their depleted forces. Corsair Prince Galathiel of the Last Reach pledged his ships as transport to the sisters in exchange for visions on the possible plunder on Nikarian trade that they could capture, and with their time running out, the expedition sailed to Nikara.
Every Eldar Warrior and Maiden aboard the Last Reach fleet swore to return with their right hand coated in the blood of human betrayers and murderers, or not come back at all. At the call of "Khaine wants it", they raced to the enemy, full of faith and devoid of fear.
