What's The Defense of Nikara?

The Defense of Nikara is a campaign set in the grim galaxy of the Warhammer 40,000 universe. This blog is supposed to document and follow the exploits of my participating Eldar Army into the campaign as it covers the conflict that shakes and convulses the planet.

To be more specific, The Defense of Nikara is a League/Competition between 12 players that takes part this year on my city. Five of those players control Imperial armies while five others control non-imperial armies. The Imperial armies try to defend the planet in all fronts, while the invaders each try to follow their own agendas. For the first phase of the campaign, each player will face off with the opponents of the other team, although the non-imperial armies are not allied to each other as the Imperials are.

I am not allowed to take pictures/film the games by store policy, so I will not be able to place video battle reports, but I do keep track of games with certain detail thanks to a log book keeper. I will try to keep this updated as soon as I assemble the reports after each game.

For the first round, there are three different environments to fight in. Woodland Territories, Industrial District, and Urban Warfare. Every player will have to face two battles in each of the "districts", and the side with more wins in each of the districts will gain control of it at the end of the phase. Every weekend there are 6 games. Three of them played simultaneously on Saturday, and another three on Sunday.
